The extra virgin olive oil is a tasty food, natural and healthy: it helps us to a good life, it prevents and treats various diseases. It has many healthful virtues; many doctors and nutritionists recognize the value of “ therapeutic food” and the importance of the “Mediterranean diet”, synonymous of health.
The olive oil, in fact, contains antioxidant substances such as polyphenols, carotenoids and squalene; it has a good balance between vitamin E and linoleic acid; it is low in saturated fat and rich in monounsaturated fat; it has a correct relationship between omega6 and omega3. A perfect balance of components and nutrients useful to keep healthy our body.

So we need to put a stop to these bad habits, moving towards a more natural and balanced diet model, i.e. the Mediterranean diet.
The MEDITERRANEAN DIET is characterized by:
